Hello there, the angel from my nightmare
The shadow in the background of the morgue
The unsuspecting victim... ~Blink 182- "I miss you"

I heard that song several years ago and those words stuck in my brain. How would you turn an angel into something nightmareish? I saw Hellboy 2 over the summer and was inspired to make my own angel of death/ Nightmare angel... So here he is! It was just a sketch I really liked and was afraid to mess up with shading or color. if he seems a bit lopsided it's cause I had to tilt the paper and the camera to fit him in the shot, so please forgive that.
I hope he looks creepy enough.

Joking joking.

In all seriousness though, wicked design. I love how you added the spiderwebs, and the bone structure of the wings, really nice.

"What was that last one?"

"Whipped cream."

lol thanks and yes, yes he is a good widdle nightmare angel.

I'm glad you like the wings, it took me forever to stretch the spider webs across them just right. Spiders have always been a strong symbol of death to me, as well as fear(what with my arachnophobia and all)
And for the bones I just did bat wings and drew in the little sections of connective cartilage at the joints.
